• Discuss the role of the baby’s father.
• Ask how she thinks parenting will work for her. What will her day look like?
• Help her realistically see all that will be involved such as:
• Working
• School
• Daycare
• Money

Be sure she writes up a parenting plan and you discuss it together. She may be assuming that you will watch the baby while she is in school or pay for daycare and diapers. She needs to put in writing what she is planning to do and how she will do it.
